If you’ve always wanted to make a quick and tasty dinner, try braising. It’s an easy way to make great dishes. And this class will show you how to make great dinners fast. You’ll start with hearty Braised Mushroom and Roasted Garlic on Seared Bread, followed by a warming Braised Root Vegetables and Curry, and then create Braised Chicken and Leeks. You’ll finish off with a decadent Bananas Foster. Be sure to bring some take-home containers. You’ll have dinner for days once you finish.

We booked Chef Gill's cooking class of different braising techniques in Santa Monica and had a blast. We braised different types of vegetables as well as chicken. Chef Gill is knowledgable, patient and really a fun chef. In the end, we had prepared a tasty multi course meal and we all sat down together and enjoyed it. Thank you Cozymeal! I look forward to my next cooking class.

Meet your chef
Chef Gill’s culinary background is an impressive one. He began his career 32 years ago when he worked as dishwasher and line cook in Washington, D.C. After high school, he attended Johnson and Wales University, the Cordon Bleu Paris and finished an externship in the United Kingdom. He then headed to New York City where he worked in small restaurants before landing in L.A. where he worked at a restaurant and taught at Le Cordon Bleu Los Angeles.
