If you love pasta and want to learn how to make it the best way, this class taught by Chef Francesca will be perfect for you! You'll practice hand rolling pasta in three different shapes, and learn the secrets for drying and cooking pasta the authentic way. After that, you'll get to choose two different sauces from a mouthwatering array of options to complement your pasta.

What a lovely experience. 10/10!! My girlfriend and I booked this for Valentine's Day - pasta making in the morning. We were a bit hesitant to walk into a stranger's home with other strangers (lol), but Chef Francesca made us feel instantly right at home. Not only is she an incredible chef and clearly experienced, but she has a kind, positive soul and clearly loves what she does. Her home is also sweet. Contemporary and heartfelt touches of Italy. She also had cheese and crackers for us to touch on - real parm from Sardinia. We cooked two dishes altogether and they were YUM; portions were generous too...did not eat the rest of the day. So satisfied. Would absolutely recommend and do this again.

Great experience with Chef Francesca. She was a great chef and a lovely host. Such a kind person, and such great food! One note, this class is not as hands on as others I have had in the past. Chef duties are shared, you are not making your own dish from start to finish. Not a bad thing, just important to know if you prefer one type of class over another. Also, the chef chooses your sauces beforehand, so if you’re dead set against any of the sauces, let her know and she can accommodate. Would recommend!

I gifted this pasta making class to my son for his birthday, and it was an absolute hit! Chef Francesca was an excellent teacher—her experience and expertise really shine through in how she guides you through the process. My son absolutely loved every minute of it.
The class reinforced something I've always believed: food is so much better when it's homemade. Now I'm genuinely looking forward to making these dishes at home and putting what we learned into practice.
I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning the art of pasta making. Chef Francesca makes it approachable, fun, and truly memorable. Great gift idea, too!

We made handmade pasta, 2 types as well as homemade suace for each.
Chef Francesca is amazing. Very cheerfull and pleasant to be with. She is a great instructor, patiant and very willing to answer our questions. We had an amazing good time and would recomend her to anyone wantingg to learn and up their game in teh kitchen. So glad we did this.

Chef Francesca provided the most wonderful cooking experience for my daughter & I. She was very upbeat, informative & fun. We were able to experience the Sicilian style food from her region. The hands on practice of making pasta was so fun and gives us confidence to make it on our own. You should definitely book this class, a top choice with Chef Francesca!!

I want to express my gratitude to the Cozymeal Team, especially Lauren, for accommodating my communication needs.
As I mentioned, I am deaf and communicate using American Sign Language. Chef Francesca was patient in working with me and very kind to write everything out for me to read. Not only was Chef Francesca nice to me, but she is also a fantastic chef! She taught me everything I needed to know, and the food we cooked together was incredible. What a great experience! Chef Francesca was amazing! In addition to being very knowledgeable about cooking, she is a great teacher! We learnt how to make two types of pasta and with different techniques, also made two sauces. She taught us the authentic way and the modern way. Also, everything was taught in detail and with patience so everyone could learn to make pasta firsthand.
I would recommend her class to anyone who loves food and wants to learn cooking in the best way!

We took Chef Francesca’s class as part of a bachelorette celebration, and I can honestly say it was the highlight of our day. Her home was so clean, cozy, and beautiful! But it was truly Chef Francesca’s warm and welcoming presence that made the whole experience what it was. Not only was the food absolutely stunning (potentially one of my favorite meals of all time), but the whole experience seemed so personal and almost as if we were just hanging out with one of our close friends at their home. Chef Francesca shared a lot about her hometown in Italy, the food culture, and about the ingredients we were working with as well, which really made the class seem more intimate and special. I would 100% recommend Chef Francesca’s class and I will definitely be back to do another class with her if possible!

My friends and I really enjoyed Chef Francesca's pasta making class! Chef Francesca demonstrated the techniques and described the science behind them in clear, understandable ways. She was a gracious and warm host and made getting to know the other students fun. And both the carbonara and the mushroom ravioli dishes were amazing!

My boyfriend and I took Francesca's pasta making class on a Saturday afternoon. It was so much fun! It was just us and 1 other couple, which was really cool since it made the experience so much more intimate. Francesca is such a such sweetheart and we learned so much from her! We started off the class with a cup of cappuccino, then made fettuccine and ravioli from scratch. It was such a great experience. Would 100% recommend taking this class!

I bought this class as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and we just went this past weekend. It was fantastic! We made two types of ravioli (potato stuffed with a carbonara sauce and ricotta stuffed with a tomato sauce) and fettuccini with a caviar sauce.
Chef Francesca was extremely knowledgeable about each of the ingredients we used - some of which were straight from Italy! We enjoyed hearing about her growing up in Sardinia and her travels (recently to Australia!). She also shared some of her favorite Italian restaurants in LA, which I'm super eager to try.
Francesca made everything super simple for us. She explained each step thoroughly and jumped in to help when it looked like we were struggling a bit (folding one of the raviolis we made was a little tricky!) but overall the recipes were very manageable.
My boyfriend and I were so impressed with her professionalism and friendliness, and of course, the our meal! I would definitely recommend this class.

Chef Francesca was a fantastic teacher and has an amazing personality. Her apartment is very comfortable and welcoming. She has all necessary equipment, as well as, all the best ingredients, many of which are from her hometown in Sardinia, Italy. My wife and I got along with her very well and shared not only a great night cooking, but also many of our stories and experiences. We absolutely loved making pasta with her! Would definitely recommend Chef Francesca's class to anyone and we are definitely going to try another class in the future!

Our class with Chef Francesca was amazing! Another couple canceled, so my boyfriend and I had a private class. She welcomed us into her cozy home and entertained us with lively conversation about food and Italy. Not only was she great company, but she was also a great teacher! She went over every step of the pasta making process clearly and concisely. Both my boyfriend and I feel confident we can make pasta on our own now. Now... the food! It was the best pasta I've ever had in my life (and I've eaten a lot of pasta)!! We made three types - fresh fettuccini, traditional ravioli, and culurgiones (a cross between a dumpling and ravioli native to Sardinia). The fettuccini was topped with a brie fondue sauce with mushrooms, nutmeg, walnuts, and speck (smoked prosciutto). The ravioli was stuffed with a decadent three-cheese filling and paired with a fresh tomato and basil sauce. The culurgiones were stuffed with a potato, sage, and butter mixture. The sauce for the culurgiones was Francesca's INCREDIBLE lamb ragu. I can't even put into words how delicious it was - easily the best pasta sauce I've ever had in my life. You will NOT be disappointed when booking a class with Francesca. You'll end up having one of the best meals of your life!

It was such a lovely way to spend an evening. Learning and socializing with a very talented native italian was fun and inspiring. I purchased my kitchen mixer and will be making pasta hopefully as well as Francesca soon.

Chef Francesca was AMAZING! My husband surprised me with a pasta making class with Francesca and it was supposed to be us and another couple, but they cancelled so we had the pleasure of having Chef all to ourselves! It was very personal in her apartment, so it was much better than a big kitchen at a big cooking school or cookware store. She provided a relaxed environment and vibe so we could relax and learn how to cook without slaving away. We took notes while she showed us, and we would step in every once in a while and do something ourselves, which I really like because we were able to relax. She is super sweet, funny and has amazing stories to share about being Italian and her travels! I recommend this class to EVERYONE!

My wife bought me a pasta making class with Chef Francesca for my birthday. This was a fantastic class. The class took place in Chef Francesca's kitchen in her apartment in Santa Monica. She was warm and welcoming as everyone was in her kitchen. It was as if we were guests in her house.
We learned how to make Linguini and 2 shapes of Ravioli and 2 sauces (Carbonara and Butter/Sage). Chef Francesca went very slow and showed us how to perform each part of the recipe. I was so confident after the class that I made the Linguini and Carbonara sauce for a party of 15 the next day (it was a potluck dinner at my wife's boss' house). It came out great. I will continue to use what I learned yesterday for the rest of my life. I now have the confidence to make my own pasta.

We had the best experiance and my friend and I acctaully felt like for the few hours we were making and enjoying pasta, we were in Italy. We also tried her delicious gelato at her store and loved the peanut butter and Nutella! Thank you and we will definitely be back. We took the Pasta making course with Chef Francesca a few weeks ago and had an incredible time. It was amazing that she basically had 4 strangers come into her own home to learn how to make delicious food, right in front of us, it was like having a private chef! We learned how to make 3 different kinds of pasta, all of which were delicious. My boyfriend and I used her recipe to make our own fresh pasta a few days ago and it turned out better than I could have expected, thanks to her easy and caring approach. My husband and I have been wanting to take a cooking class for awhile. We love steak and Italian food so much so Chef Francesca's Italian steakhouse class piqued our interest. The drive was reasonable to Torrance from South LA. Parking was easy. Her home was so cute and clean and charming! Chef Francesca is such a kind, focused and effective teacher and coach. My husband Jeremy and I got to share the workload evenly. What I loved was how easy and fast the recipes were and how easy it was to time everything out while keeping a clean kitchen. The food was superb and we had amazing leftovers the next day. We had an amazing time and would go back to her or try another class with Cozymeal. I even love how she teaches earlier so that she can be a present mom, just an awesome lady.

I surprised my fiancé with a private cooking class with Francesca as an early Valentine’s Day gift.
The last time we had truly authentic Italian food was in Italy, and this was the first time we experienced fresh, homemade Italian cuisine since returning. Francesca, who is from Sardinia, was warm and welcoming as she shared her style of cooking from scratch, showing us how to simplify Italian dishes.
My fiancée is pregnant, and Francesca was incredibly helpful in guiding us on how to modify our meals—such as pasteurizing eggs and adjusting the tiramisu recipe. The result was the best tiramisu we’ve ever had, and now we’ll always want to make it ourselves!
We highly recommend learning from Francesca, it was a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

This is our first time having a Cooking Class as a Team Building Event. Chef Francesca made it such a successful experience! We love every single dish that were prepared. They were delicious! And we had a lot of fun kneading the pasta dough to making the actual Sardinian Ravioli (Culurgiones). We love Chef Francesca's sharing of her life experiences which helped us to learn about the Sardinian culture and its food. We appreciate her down-to-earth personality that made everyone felt so at home. Afterwards, my team was raving about this whole experience and telling me how much they enjoyed it. Our Italian Steakhouse cooking class with Chef Francesca was fantastic! My partner and I booked it for our anniversary and had the best time. The class took place at her lovely home and we happened to be the only two participants for this class so it was extra special. We learned a lot, ate delicious food, and enjoyed Francesca's company throughout. We even had plenty of leftovers so it was well worth the price! We highly recommend this class and would definitely take another class from Francesca.

It warms my heart to know there are still great people like this in the world. Francesca welcomed us into her home with open arms and made us very comfortable working with our setup. We made fettucine and culurgiones (google it, they are awesome), with the mushroom cream sauce and arrabbiata. The 3 hours flew by and we had a great time sharing stories and talking about food and family. I would absolutely recommend doing a class with Francesca, she's the best!!

Chef Francesca instantly made us feel at home - we truly felt like we were visiting with an old friend. Her kitchen is cozy, beautifully decorated and perfect for the occasion; we got inspired by so many ideas and things we’d like to implement in our own kitchen! The class was a perfect blend of educational demos and hands-on tasks with a lot of naturally flowing dialogue. Chef Francesca’s style of teaching is professional and packed with great learning, while also very friendly, relaxing and funny with a lot of organic laughs and great “a-ha” moments. My group was truly fascinated with observing her work her magic, being able to apply a lot of things instantly, but also walking away with so many new learnings, tips and best practices we can apply in our own cooking at home. And the food - wow!! It was truly delicious! Everything from start to finish was wonderful! We concluded the experience very happy: bellies filled with amazing food, minds filled with great new ideas and learning and hearts filled with warmth. We couldn’t recommend this experience enough as a fun and new way to get together with loved ones and friends to learn something new and very applicable, while also creating some awesome memories! Just WOW! I purchased this experience as a Christmas present for my husband who was interested in learning how to make pasta from scratch and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience! The two pasta dishes (handmade fettuccine and raviolo) were unbelievably delicious and we learned a lot from her. She's a great teacher and gave us practical instruction that we can now implement in our own homes. Furthermore, Chef Francesca went above and beyond! We took Chef Francesca’s cooking class and learned so much! My partner and I are both vegan and had a surprisingly difficult time to find a vegan tailored cooking class option. I messaged Francesca to see if she could tailor her class to be vegan and she did, and it was incredible! The food was amazing and we were very impressed. We thought it would be awkward to take a class inside her home, but it was so comfortable and very clean. She is welcoming and lets you cook with her for a totally hands-on experience. Then, while she prepares the plating you can eat the appetizers you made and ask her culinary questions. She is super informative and generous with her knowledge. We highly recommend her class!

I surprised my husband with a cooking class with Francesca at her home. I was a little timid about it being in her home at first, but it really didn’t matter once we were there. She is delightful and thought of all the little details to make the evening perfect. She had Italian/ wine decor all over her home. We learned so much, it was great to watch her cook up close and she explained her cooking techniques. We were very hands on, but if you don’t want to be she can do the whole thing for you. The dessert wasn’t on the menu, but because it was my husband’s birthday, she whipped up delicious panna cotta with a candle. The extra touches were remarkable.

She was such a joy to chat with and the food we made was unbelievable, everything from the freshly homemade pasta to charcuterie, salad, and homemade tiramisu. You might be wondering how Chef Francesca has received almost 200 glowing reviews. The short answer: she's absolutely delightful and one heck of a chef!
I scheduled our dinner with Chef Francesca as a birthday present for my wife. Chef Francesca was very easy to communicate with and we were able to hammer out the details of the dinner very quickly. Most importantly, though, was the food: it was delicious! The stuffed mushrooms were amazing, and I probably ate too many considering the amount of food that was to come. Chef Francesca was very accommodating when I asked if we could do shrimp and scallop risotto (my wife's favorites), and it turned out very good. The salmon was quite possibly the best piece of salmon I've ever had, bar none! An, finally, the tiramisu was authentic and delicious. At the end of the evening we were stuffed and highly satisfied!

Our experience with Chef Francesca was wonderful, informative, and personal. The time spent did not feel rushed in any way, and Francesca taught us a great deal as we all cooked and talked together. I have never made pasta by hand; it was very satisfying to consume a home-cooked meal that we helped make. The food was hot, fresh, and artfully presented. For our pastas, we made fettucini and stuffed ravioli. The focus on Sardinian techniques was an unexpected novelty; we made a type of ravioli I have never seen before. Each one (that Francesca made) looked like an elegant little edible sculpture. Each one that I made didn't look quite so artful...but they still tasted wonderful just the same. Francesca also showed us how to make additional pastas as we worked, adding value to the experience. Her kitchen is well-appointed. astutely clean, and well-organized. She works in an incredibly efficient way, balancing the duties of making multiple courses at once, while still maintaining an easy-going manner and cordial atmosphere. We chose a mushroom sauce as one of our sauces, which incorporated truffles in a way that brought out a savory flavor that really lifted the dish. And she used a secret ingredient in her ravioli that I don't want to give away here, but that has to be tried to be believed. I highly recommend this experience. I gifted my wife this experience for our anniversary, and when we were done, she told me it was a great present and a fun way to spend time together.

Francesca was amazing! I ended up surprising my wife with the Italian Dinner for her birthday and it couldn't have been better. It ended up being us and another couple in Chef Francesca's quaint apartment and she patiently guided us through cooking homemade pasta and steak while answering questions about ingredients, the process, and best restaurants to go to in LA for Italian. The food was AMAZING and fresh, and the whole experience extremely fun! Not only would we do Cozymeal and this again, but we HIGHLY recommend Chef Francesca!

Chef Francesca was AMAZING!!! My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time learning how to make pasta (specifically fettuccine and ravioli), and the food was beyond delicious. Chef Francesca was so warm and welcoming and full of passion. We loved her simple approach to cooking - using minimal ingredients, yet producing maximum flavor. It made for a fun and unique learning experience that we will now be able to take into our kitchen at home. It's been less than 24 hours since we had our pasta making experience and we've already been telling our friends in Los Angeles about her class. Francesca was great! Very accommodating to dietary restrictions and birthday requests. I surprised my girlfriend with the "Make Pasta With Your Honey" cooking class for her 25th birthday and she was stunned by how well the pasta was and how fun it is to make fresh pasta.

Our experience with Chef Francesca was absolutely fantastic! My girlfriend and I had never attempted to make pasta prior to this class, but really no experience is needed because the course is easy enough to understand. With that being said, the course was very informative and practical. Chef Francesca is extremely knowledgeable if you do have detailed questions about techniques and recipes. She was patient with our questions and very willing to provide as much guidance as we needed throughout the pasta making process. We paired the pasta with carbonara and porcini mushroom sauces - both were very delicious. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend it to friends. Also, you can bring your own wine to drink throughout the class!

Francesca was excellent! The food was delicious and class was easy, relaxed and natural. She tailored her instruction to each of our skill levels (I'm very much a beginner and my partner is more advanced). I loved making the pasta from scratch, the meat and cheese platter were unbelievable, and the dessert mousse entirely exceeded my expectations. All of the cuisine was so light and fresh, and would be feasible to make again on our own. We brought our own wine, and it made for a wonderful afternoon and great conversation. Thank you Francesca!

She was patient with us while she showed us how to make the ravioli, and she took her time teaching us how to make traditional dishes from her home country--it's nothing like you've had in a restaurant. Francesca was so warm and welcoming and made the entire experience completely memorable! My wife and I had such a fun time sharing about our experiences in Italy and the meal came out perefectly! We wil definetly be repeat customers!

Although we weren't sure what to expect, my husband and I had a great time with Chef Francesca and the other couple who attended the session. Chef is warm, friendly and very funny. But don't let the niceness fool you: she definitely knows her stuff! I highly recommend this experience for others.

Our cooking class was more than excellent; it was incredible! Chef Francesca was a warm and gracious host, teacher and a lovely person to spend 4 hours cooking with. She was well prepared and taugh us lots of helpful cooking tips. We enjoyed every part of the process and every dish we made was absolutely delicious! Her patience and care for each ingredient was impressive. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will recommend this to all whom we know traveling to LA. Thank you!!

Chef Francesca was wonderful! She welcomed us into her home and showed us how easy it is to cook pasta from scratch! We spent about 4-5 hours there while she shared her experiences traveling around the world and living in the United States. We brought our own bottle of wine and she offered espressos and sparkling water. I highly recommend!

Got this session as a gift for my sister in law and brother. They absolutely loved it. We are vegetarian and chef Francesca created a wonderful menu for them as well as a very interactive evening! Would definitely recommend her to everyone including vegetarians!!

This experience was great! I really had no idea what to expect, and Francesca made the evening so enjoyable and comfortable. Not only was the food delicious, we had a great time chatting with Francesca and getting to know her. Hearing her stories from Italy, paired with the amazingly flavorful food, made the night perfect! That was hands down the best Tiramisu we have ever had!!!!! I highly recommend Francesca and will definitely consider Cozy Meal gift certificates with her for the holidays and birthday gifts.

Francesca is adorable and I / we can truly recommend her.
The complete class was very authentic:
- the class taking place in her kitchen
- Francesca having grown up in Sardinia still having a strong and charming Italian accent
I really loved that she had purchased high quality ingredients, all from WholeFoods, and in addition used items a) which she had orginally purchased in Italy or b) had been home-made by her mom
All dishes were super delicious.
Just 2 days later I received all recipes as request, fabulous !
Overall experience just awesome.
Being German - and please keep this in mind - I just have two recommendations or hints:
1) We started (very hungry) at 1:00pm and I think we had our starter at about 4:30pm. I was starving ... I would have expected a) some small appartizers such as olives and may be also a glas of Prosecco. Watching hungrily the prep of food can be painful ...
2) If you expect a "hands-on" cooking class this is not the right course to choose. I was expecting to be more involved, was expecting more interaction. In the end Francesca was doing all the work (and did a great job) but we were just the audience. May be, that's normal in the US - I just have different experiences from Germany and would have loved to have had a more active, involved role
Again, I really enjoyed the class - Francesca is phenomenal!

We had an amazing time cooking and eating with Francesca. She really taught us many things that we found useful. It boosted our motivation to cook at home more! Francesca was welcoming but also really cool as a person and we had so many interesting conversations with her. The dinner was of course delicious! Overall, with this price and the quality of the whole experience, it was more than worth it! Thank you, Francesca!

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend's birthday and I can't speak highly enough about Francesca and the experience we had with her during our course. Firstly, her home was just the type of environment you'd want to walk into, truly a chef's home, it was warm, invited and featured many of Francesca's favorite dishes on the walls, not the mention the wine bottle mural she and Paolo made with wine corks, it was very cool. Her cooking was exquisite, it seemed every element of the meal had a story and a connection to her past or present which was an experience you just don't get a restaurant, that opened up an entire evening of learning about Italian and general Western Europe cooking culture. While our main goal was to learn how to make pasta from scratch, we learned a ton about cooking steak, pairing sides and entree's and why things are better done one way than another. I can't recommend Francesca enough, she's a great chef and an even better person. She treated us with nothing but the upmost hospitality and answered all of our questions. I'd give her 15 stars if I could!

The class was very nice! I was expecting to be hands on making the pasta from the beginning but you really just help with the fun parts. Chef Francesca was so welcoming and accommodating! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time. It was as if we were spending our time with a friend who knew how to cook and chit chatted with us the whole time. Highly Recommended if this is what you're looking for! Thanks for a great dinner, Chef Francesca!

If you are at all unsure about which CozyMeal experience to try out - we highly recommend this one! Chef Francesca made everything from scratch and even shared some rare ingredients from her home in Sardinia... Seriously one of, if not the best dining experience we have ever had. Cannot recommend highly enough! We will be back in the future!

My husband and I had a great time learning to cook Italian food with Chef Francesca. She is very sweet and professional. It was our first time learning how to cook and she made our experience pleasant. Oh and the food was AH-MA-ZING. Francesca is wonderful! She hosted the class in her home, which meant there was limited space for us to help out in the process. But, it ended up working really well for us. We had time to chat and catch up among ourselves. Francesca did a great job of explaining each part of the cooking process for every course. She also had us help with the pasta making, which was really fun! Thank you, Francesca!

We had our first couples cooking class with Chef Francesca and it was a totally amazing experience. The food she prepared was delicious, tasty, and fresh. But her personality was what made the experience that much more pleasant and enjoyable. We are sure to come back for another class with her. She is the best, a true professional!

Chef Francesca was a true delight and a fantastic chef. My Fiance' and I had such an enjoyable evening with her. She did not rush, but treated us like old friends and made us feel very welcome in her home. Her knowledge and skill is excellent and we cant' wait to try out some of the recipes we learned. Our evening with Chef Francesca was so enjoyable and SO delicious! She welcomed us into her home, and walked us through how to make an amazing Italian meal start to finish. Not only was it a delicious 4-course meal, but easily one we could all make ourselves. Francesca was a joy to be around. We enjoyed wine and espressos, while she whipped up a meal I have been thinking about ever since. We loved the experience, the company, the food, and would devour a Chef Francesca meal any day!
