Flour power unleashed - whip up some serious sweetness with this baking extravaganza!
This cooking series is perfect for budding bakers over 12 years old. Turn up the heat on your pastry skills. Over five days, a chef instructor will lead students through advanced baking techniques and diverse global recipes. Fundamental food prep skills and kitchen safety measures are essential in summer cooking classes. On the final day, a mystery challenge will put their skills to the test, resulting in a delicious homemade meal. Each participant will go home with a printed menu, graduation certificate and essential skills that will last a lifetime.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Class was fun and shorter than anticipated. Wished for an in-depth step by step instructions and felt it was fast paced and not beginner friendly. Received guidance later in the class and was disappointed not being able to make the hazelnut gelato. Neither the classroom video camera nor mirror were used in the instructing. Saw many groups were struggling.
