Kids take a culinary journey around the globe in this inspiring summer cooking series.

Created for ages 7-11, this globally inspired cooking series introduces curious young chefs to creative cuisine and dishes from around the world. During five days of summer cooking classes, kids are taught by a five-star chef and introduced to herbs, spices and ingredients made popular in other countries. They'll steam Chinese pork buns, knead Italian pasta dough, bake German schnitzel and so much more. Essential skills, including food safety and food prep, are covered in every class, and students take home recipes and a graduation certificate.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

The finished product really wasn't all that good and the chef seemed a bit overwhelmed the whole time, but my kiddo had a good time which was the goal. I'd do it again.

Overall the class was great! Everything was set up and organized for us when we showed up and flowed easily. We were in a group of 4 (myself and friend were paired with 2 others) but we each were able to take part in each step of the process (for better for worse). The end product was tasty! I feel like I could do the process at home if I choose to, no longer intimidated by it.

The class and instructor were good. My only criticism is that I think too much is packed into the activity so you don't really do a full start-to-finish, hands-on recipe. And it would be great if the recipes were a chef favorite or the chef's master recipe so they don't rely on reading every single step.

Fun class, nice informative chef. The problem is that they did not send out the recipes of the meals we prepared. They said this was going to happen. I checked my spam folder.

The French croissants class was excellent. Chef Eric was very helpful and the experience was great. Be prepared for an engaging hands-on class We learned a lot and had fun. The final products (sweet and savory croissants) were delicious.
