Learn to make your own fresh, handmade sushi in this hands-on class.
If you've dreamed of making your own sushi, this is the class for you! Experienced sushi chefs will help you along as you create a wide range of fresh sushi favorites from scratch. You'll learn what it takes to make a perfect batch of sushi rice, before making your own shrimp tempura rolls, spicy tuna rolls and avocado and vegetable hand rolls, as well as a yuzu dipping sauce.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

The class was good, except I didn’t receive the cooking instructions or the 15% store discount since I registered via Cozymeal.

I was a bit disappointed that Chef Nick was not the chef instructing this class. I didn’t realize the class said “or Resident Chef”, so that is just something to be aware of. Overall, class went smoothly. Making pasta from scratch was fun and the pasta dish turned out well. The salad and the dessert, however, were underwhelming and I would not make them again. I felt like explanations were lacking during the class. It was quite loud and difficult to hear the instructor, so I dont feel like I learned much. I also have not received a copy of the recipes. Last time I took a class at Sur La Table I received the recipes the same evening of the class.

Fantastic class - I learned a ton about working with laminated doughs. I've tried a couple times in the past, and always had a sticky, tacky mess on my hands. This class taught me tricks and tips, how to work the dough more effectively, what to watch out for. I just pulled a batch of croissants out of the oven, and they are everything I could have ever hoped for, and more. I need to keep a laminated dough on hand at all times now! :D Loved the class, great teacher, very helpful and informative - can't wait to take more classes!

Hi team, our class was enjoyable, but we did not get what we paid for. We did not make the dessert portion of the class and were let out 30 minutes early.

The class was perfect! The instructor was excellent, we had hands on learning, and the experience was wonderful. Signing up through cozymeal was iffy because the location wasn't posted until after I signed up and the instructor was different than advertised, but it was still a great class

This was a really fun experience. My best friend and I attended the shrimp scampi with homemade spaghetti class. It was our first cooking class ever. We learned a lot of good information and recipes that can be replicated at home. The food was delicious. FRESH pasta for the win!

We did the pasta making class with Chef Nick! He was extremely knowledgeable, demonstrated everything clearly and helped us make the best food. It was such a fun class. We got to make two pastas and 3 sauces. It was such a great date night. Highly highly recommend. Novice to experienced cooks would enjoy this!

Our team had a wonderful experience. The food selection, level of difficulty and straightforward instructions were exactly what we needed. We appreciated the space to learn and grow together as a team and Chef Nick's teaching method and personality were the icing on the cake.... and also the olive oil ice cream... which was amazing.

The French croissants class was excellent. Chef Eric was very helpful and the experience was great. Be prepared for an engaging hands-on class We learned a lot and had fun. The final products (sweet and savory croissants) were delicious.

After pursuing culinary school and retiring from teaching, Chef Karen became a chef instructor in 2019. Promoted to Culinary Lead in 2020, she continued to excel, recently stepping into the role of Resident Chef.
