Learn to create local Thai dishes in the heart of San Francisco!
In this Thai cooking class, you will learn how to create authentic dishes that are staples in Thailand and some of the most popular among locals!
To start, Chef Aom will provide an appetizer and then teach you how to create Pad Kra Praw Gai Kai Dao, a stir-fried chicken dish with spicy garlic sauce and Thai basil, topped with a crispy fried egg. It's a favorite among Thai locals. She'll also show you how to whip up a fantastic version of the indispensable Nam Pla Prik sauce to go along with the dish.
The class will end with one of Chef Aom's complimentary desserts. Join this class and cooking delicious, authentic Thai food will be a mystery no more!

Chef Aom's Thai curry is some of the best I've had. I've only ever attempted green curry with paste I buy from the store, so learning how it can be done completely from scratch was so eye-opening! Chef Aom uses a mortar and pestle and even grows her own kaffir lime leaves! Such a cool experience and such a perfect balance of flavor and spiciness.
Meet your chef
Chef Aom started learning to cook on her own through books, videos, and blogs. Later she attended the CCA in SF as well as Thai cooking school in Thailand. She creates her own Thai dishes completely from scratch and is also well-versed in Southeast Asian cuisine. She looks forward to hosting you and teaching you the wonders and flavors of Thai cooking!
