In this Thai cooking class, you'll learn how to make your choice of a creamy, spicy, coconut-based curry. First, choose your favorite Thai curry (red, green, or yellow). Then, start building the base of your curry with fresh herbs and spices from the farmers' market. You'll pick between an organic selection of meat (beef, chicken, or pork) and gradually build up the most flavorful, satisfying bowl of curry you can imagine!
The curry will be served with a side of cucumber salad and freshly made jasmine rice. Chef Aom will also offer an appetizer and a dessert to round out the meal while focusing on teaching you the rewarding process of making authentic homemade Thai curry! Enjoy!

Chef Aom's Thai curry is some of the best I've had. I've only ever attempted green curry with paste I buy from the store, so learning how it can be done completely from scratch was so eye-opening! Chef Aom uses a mortar and pestle and even grows her own kaffir lime leaves! Such a cool experience and such a perfect balance of flavor and spiciness.
Meet your chef
Chef Aom started learning to cook on her own through books, videos, and blogs. Later she attended the CCA in SF as well as Thai cooking school in Thailand. She creates her own Thai dishes completely from scratch and is also well-versed in Southeast Asian cuisine. She looks forward to hosting you and teaching you the wonders and flavors of Thai cooking!
