You’ll create an eclectic variety of sublime French pastries in this hands-on cooking class led by Chef Cheryl. She will teach you how to make several different doughs from scratch using classic French techniques.
Kick off the class by preparing classic pastry dough known as pâte à choux and delectable pastry cream. Next, form your sweet tart dough known as pâte sucrée, which you will use as the base for a creamy, eight-inch fruit tart. By the end of the class, you will leave with a dozen gougères and two-dozen cream puffs and eclairs, in addition to your fruit tart.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
