In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Theotis, you’ll learn the ins and outs of the sous vide cooking method, beginning with choosing high-quality ingredients, including steaks and fresh produce.
Chef Theotis will show you how to cook steakhouse-style steak and poach lobster by vacuum sealing the meats and immersing them in warm water until they are cooked evenly. He will also demonstrate how to prepare asparagus to enhance its natural flavors and teach you a recipe for a pear dessert with cream and white wine.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Chef Theo showed me how to cook cajun shrimp and grits. He was very descriptive on his cooking steps and showed me how to use a garlic press. His final presentation was beautiful and elegant. He was super friendly and made the experience enjoyable.
