Cooking Class - Introduction to Seitan

Prepare this three-course vegetarian meal using versatile seitan to create an incredible entrée!

If you've always been intrigued by seitan but have never given it a go, this hands-on cooking class with Chef Jenn is the perfect opportunity to try it out! You'll learn how to incorporate it into a savory main dish, the perfect replacement for a thoughtful meat-free dinner.

Begin with crispy chickpea cakes seasoned with lemon and served with crème fraîche. Then, Chef Jenn will teach you how to pan sear seitan prepared with potatoes, Parmesan and asparagus. And for dessert, you'll whip up a vegan version of a decadent crème brûlée topped with fresh berries.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Jennifer's is great! She is so fun to work with and is an awesome instructor for anyone looking to step up their cooking. She is super knowledgeable about vegan and vegetarian food, and as someone who wants to eventually shift over to that, I was really great to work with her. Her food is delicious, and I highly recommend her to anyone in the area.

Chef Jenn was so fun to hang out with and taught us a lot in our class! We will definitely take another class! We celebrated our friend’s 40th birthday and it was a perfect set up: being able to stay at home and everyone got to wear comfortable clothes. Would highly recommend the brunch session!
