In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Alexis, you will learn how to prepare a gourmet three-course French-American fusion menu using a bounty of fresh, high-quality ingredients as well as traditional French recipes and cooking techniques.
Chef Alexis will begin by teaching you how to prepare a creamy, cheesy mushroom orzotto flecked with sun-dried tomatoes. Then, you will learn how to properly prepare a classic French entrée: Steak au poivre. Lastly, you will end with an apple pear cake with a toffee crust and homemade brie ice cream for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Alexis was amazing! She is so relaxed and pleasant, always smiling making you feel very comfortable and welcomed. Chef Alexis is a recipe developer and private chef who brings nearly a decade of professional culinary experience to the table. After graduating from culinary school, Chef Alexis has had the opportunity to further hone her craft in a variety of kitchens and roles. She specializes in French cuisine as well as Asian-Spanish fusion and loves hosting cooking parties and creating menus that embrace the bounty of the season.
