In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Alexis, you will learn how to prepare a gourmet three-course French-American fusion menu using a bounty of fresh, high-quality ingredients as well as traditional French recipes and cooking techniques.
Chef Alexis will begin by teaching you how to prepare a creamy, cheesy mushroom orzotto flecked with sun-dried tomatoes. Then, you will learn how to properly prepare a classic French entrée: Steak au poivre. Lastly, you will end with an apple pear cake with a toffee crust and homemade brie ice cream for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Alexis is a recipe developer and private chef who brings nearly a decade of professional culinary experience to the table. After graduating from culinary school, Chef Alexis has had the opportunity to further hone her craft in a variety of kitchens and roles. She specializes in French cuisine as well as Asian-Spanish fusion and loves hosting cooking parties and creating menus that embrace the bounty of the season.
