Cooking Class - Essential Macaron Techniques

Join Chef Maggie in the macaron-making process and create a flavorful variety to enjoy.

In this French baking class, you’ll learn the art of making delicate macaron shells in two different flavors and three fillings ranging from citrusy to chocolatey.

Chef Maggie will teach you how to make and bake vanilla bean macaron shells and lemon macaron shells to pair with lemon curd crafted with the ideal texture and a rich chocolate ganache. Combine your components to make expertly crafted macarons to enjoy and share with friends. Bring a container to take home a dozen macarons.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Maggie is incredible! She had me laughing the whole time. I walked in feeling very intimidated by macarons, but Chef demonstrated and gave cues that made everything so straightforward and doable. Our macarons turned out delicious, even if they weren’t the prettiest to look at (but hey, my piping skills are a work in progress, y’know). I hope to take more classes with Maggie in the future. Thanks for a great night, Maggie!

As someone who went solo, it was not fun. I recommend only doing this if you have a partner to go with. The result was delicious though!
