Learn how to prepare homemade pizzas using unique ingredients hailing from three European regions.
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Tova, you will have the opportunity to taste three European cheeses and then learn how to prepare three pizzas from scratch inspired by the flavor and origin of each cheese.
You will begin this class by tasting top-quality mozzarella from Italy, imported feta from Mykonos, and Gruyère hailing from the Alps. Then, you will pair these cheeses with other regional ingredients to prepare a Neapolitan pizza with a San Marzano tomato sauce, a Greek pizza with honey from Athens and a Parisian-inspired pizza.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Tova is great! She has a lot of experience teaching classes and you can definitely tell when you're working with her. She explains techniques and methods thoroughly and is happy to answer any questions along the way. She is also very experienced in the kitchen and her food is interesting and fun. I highly recommend Chef Tova for anyone in the NYC area.
Meet your chef
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Tova began working as a freelance chef and private chef for many A-list celebrities and high-profile clients in NYC. She specializes in plant-based, farm-to-table cuisine and her motto in the kitchen is "start simple, end exceptional." Chef Tova currently owns and operates her own business and has recently been cast for a new cooking competition series on Netflix.
