Chef Sara will show you how to make curry in a hurry and other Indian favorites.

Automatic pressure cookers help dishes go from the kitchen to the table faster than you think. Discover how quickly you can whip up Indian favorites in your pressure cooker in this hands-on cooking class, plus engage in some friendly competition with a samosas race.

Begin with deep-fried puff bread before making samosas, little triangular pillows of potatoes and spices wrapped in dough and fried until crispy. Follow this with your choice of chicken curry or vegetarian chana masala, with either rice pilaf or tomato-cucumber salad as a side.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We loved meeting Chef Sara. Even though our house was crazy chaotic, Chef Sara kept us focused and learning so much about Indian cooking. We love the spices, the wonderful aroma still in our home this morning, and the meal was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Chef Sara was excellent on all measures. Food was great. Teaching was very patient, hands-on and professional. And in a house full of teachers, that's saying a lot. From start to finish she was solicitous of our wants, and tailored everything to meet our needs, i.e. seasonings, pace of instruction, repeating when asked, making sure all our questions were answered. Can't imagine what more she could have done. Highly recommended.
