Prepare for a culinary journey featuring authentic South American fare with Chef Ruel.
Chef Ruel will utilize his extensive culinary experience to offer you an adventure sure to please your taste buds, and teach you some valuable cooking techniques along the way.
In this hands-on cooking class, you will learn how to prepare traditional South American fare from scratch. Learn all about the culinary culture as you make dishes such as Peruvian-style ceviche brimming with sweet potatoes, halibut and habanero, homemade beef empanadas with olives and bell peppers, churrasco-style grilled skirt steak with chimichurri, and classic suspiro limeño for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Peruvian Style Ceviche
With sweet potatoes, halibut, habanero and fresh lime juice
Homemade Beef Empanadas

Chef Ruel is a certified culinary trainer and recipe tester specializing in South American and plant-based cuisines. Chef Ruel has spent many years working behind the scenes in the hotel and hospitality industries and has since transitioned into the corporate space. Now, Chef Ruel works for one of the largest companies in the world teaching interactive cooking classes in a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen.
