Cooking Class - Explore the World of Mindful Eating
We have a tendency to lose interest after the first few bites of a meal, and begin eating mechanically. This multi-course tasting menu introduces contrasting flavors and textures, inviting awareness and boosting satisfaction.
Your hands-on class with Chef Daniel blends mindfulness and meditation exercises with cooking. Begin with an amuse bouche of white tomato soup, followed by preparing a carrot garden dish with forbidden rice and sunchoke puree, and eggs in a basket made of Parmesan, where nothing is at it seems. Next, you'll hand roll strozzapreti pasta, and prepare an unexpectedly succulent watermelon steak with chimichurri. The meal will end with a special dessert prepared in advance by Chef Daniel — a recreation of classic preparations that are ubiquitous in his native Argentina.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
