Learn how to make pies galore in this fun, interactive culinary experience with Chef Shayna.
In this hands-on class with Chef Shayna, you will learn everything you need to know to be able to prepare four different types of dessert pies completely from scratch using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Chef Shayna will begin by teaching you how to make flaky, melt-in-your-mouth, from-scratch pie crust. Then, you will learn how to create a seasonal sweet potato or pumpkin pie, a blueberry or apple fruit pie, a classic Southern lemon icebox pie, and petite hand pies bursting with the fresh flavor of sweet and jammy peaches.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Shayna was more than perfect! She went above and beyond to teach my 2 teenage girls how to bake by asking questions that got them to think & showing hand over hand when necessary! I will definitely be signing up for other classes she teaches for my family!

Chef Shayna offers a delicious twist on two popular dishes, stuffed french toast and salmon, in a way you wouldn't expect. Her cooking offers a homemade feel with great flavors that will surely impress. I enjoyed speaking with Chef Shayna and any questions I had, she answered them friendly and knowingly.
Meet your chef
Chef Shayna loves sharing her knowledge of nutrition and cooking with families to help them make healthier choices. After earning an associates degree in culinary arts, Chef Shayna worked in healthcare facilities teaching cooking classes, developing menus and catering events. She considers teaching children proper cooking techniques one of her most notable culinary accomplishments.
