What You’ll Do

Get ready to discover both traditional and modern Japanese desserts with pastry extraordinaire Chef Stacey.

In this hands-on class with Chef Stacey, you'll learn how to prepare three popular Japanese desserts using both familiar and exotic ingredients as well as a combination of traditional and modern cooking techniques.

Chef Stacey will begin by teaching you how to build layers of flavor and texture into an unbelievably light and fluffy Japanese cheesecake served with a homemade matcha whipped cream. You can also look forward to learning how to prepare the incredibly modern Japanese raindrop cake as well as traditional Japanese dumplings with a soy sauce glaze.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We did Chef Stacey’s Japanese baking class and it was amazing! We made some amazing desserts, and it was also just a fun experience. Chef Stacey is a great teacher and a wonderful host. We would definitely take a class from her again!

Stacey was excellent! She was incredibly knowledgeable and gave clear instructions. She was patient with us when we made a few mistakes and we spent the whole class laughing and learning. I would highly recommend taking a course with Stacey!
