Prepare for a journey into the incredible fusion of Italian classics with a Southern twist. This three-course meal is lighter than traditional Italian fare with added down-home flavor.
Usually made with zucchini or eggplant, fried green tomatoes step into these Napoleons for a delicious appetizer layered with mozzarella and greens. Substituting turkey for beef or pork makes this lasagna lower in fat without sacrificing flavor. Chef Kaia will also share her secrets to making perfect tomato sauce, as well as demonstrate the do's and don't's of chocolate-covered strawberries.
