In this hands-on vegan class, Chef Jordan will teach you how to harness the fresh, bold flavors of Mexico and Southern California — no animal products necessary.

Begin by mashing your own guacamole and preparing a cashew nacho cheese sauce to spoon over a plate of nachos. Follow that up by making healthy tacos prepared in a traditional Cali-Mex fashion. Enjoy a taco buffet featuring buffalo cauliflower, BBQ jackfruit or plant-based coconut calamari. End on a sweet note with a superfruit açaí bowl. Many ingredients used in this class are organic, non-GMO and local.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My girlfriend and I took Chef Jordan’s healthy vegan taco class at his beautiful home in Julian and it was an amazing time. Chef Jordan is very knowledgeable, engaging, and just downright pleasant to be around. I walked away with new tricks to build upon in my relatively new venture in plant based cooking. I would highly recommend Chef Jordan to anyone looking to cook a plant based diet or to anyone just looking to hone their skills in the kitchen!

We booked Chef Jordan's cooking class for Father's Day and it turned into one of our favorite family memories. From the moment we arrived at his house, the whole experience felt warm and welcoming, and the kids were hooked on the activity right away. We honestly had more fun than we ever imagined. What really got me was watching my picky eater. She is usually hesitant to try anything new, but she was excited and happy to taste every dish we made. Chef Jordan has such a great way with kids, patient, encouraging, and clearly passionate about cooking. Since the class, my kids have been showing real interest in cooking, asking to help in the kitchen, and talking about what we made that day. We will be cheering to this memory for years to come. Highly recommend Chef Jordan for any family looking for a fun, hands-on experience that might just spark a new love of cooking.

What an incredible experience! Chef Jordan gave us far more than a meal, he gave us an education and a memory we'll be talking about for a long time. His knowledge of food as medicine was fascinating, and his calm, welcoming demeanor made the entire experience feel approachable and fun. The food itself was absolutely epic, but what really made the day special was everything we learned along the way. From proper knife skills to new ways to cut and prepare fruits and vegetables, Jordan shared techniques that will change how we cook at home. He even managed to convince our palates that not all peppers are created equal! Today was fun, unique, delicious, and exactly what we were hoping for as an anniversary cooking experience.
