What You’ll Do

Learn how to prepare a menu that puts the diversity of Southeast Asian cuisine on display.

In this hands-on class with Chef Christopher, you will learn how to prepare a show-stopping four-course Southeast Asian menu that delivers one prismatic tsunami of flavor after another.

Some of the recipes you can look forward to mastering in this class include a Chinese-style foie gras appetizer with a hoisin garlic-ginger glaze and spiced poached pears, deep fried wings marinated in a wonderfully funky fish sauce and finished with sweet-salty-spicy glaze, meltingly tender Korean slow-roasted pork shoulder, and fried Thai bananas with coconut and mango for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We were 20 minutes late and were fretting but Christopher made us feel at ease and smoothly transitioned into cooking. It was an absolute blast cooking with Christopher and food came out delicious. We had a 5 course French inspired meal and every single one of them was memorable. Me and my wife really enjoyed being part of the cooking process and let our artistic side express itself while plating. The highlights of the night were the foie gras(goose liver) and the halibut with couscous. Bonus points for putting my wife at ease at the prospect of making crepes in the future.

What a great experience! My son is an aspiring chef and this was his Christmas present. Chef Christopher was wonderful! He made us feel at home immediately and we had great fun trying foie gras for the first time and learning that presentation is not just about looks, but flavor. The reductions were delicious and made for a beautiful plate. Thank you Chef Christopher!
