Hailing from Villahermosa, Chef Eleazar is eager to share the time-honored traditions of Tabasco's cuisine.
In this hands-on class with Chef Eleazar, you will learn how to prepare a remarkable three-course menu using authentic Mexican ingredients and the traditional cooking techniques of the region.
Some of the recipes you can look forward to creating in this class include a wonderfully sweet and sour lime soup brimming with juicy, flavorful shreds of chicken, and a Veracruz-style red snapper swimming in a subtly spicy tomato and olive sauce. For dessert, a tres leches cake soaked with brandy to take the custardy interior of the cake to a new level.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I was such a pleasure to take a class from Chef Eleazar! He has such a warm, friendly personality that makes you feel welcome. Once he started cooking, it was clear that he knows a lot about the history and tradition of each dish that he demonstrated. It might seem strange, but knowing the culture and geography of the food you are eating can actually make it taste better! I very much enjoyed my time with Chef Eleazar and I would highly recommend his classes.
