Cooking Class - Taiwanese Market Fare

Let your taste buds wander a typical Taiwanese night market in this unforgettable culinary experience.

In this hands-on class with Chef Jessica, you will learn how to prepare a four-course menu showcasing some of the dishes you would typically find in Taiwanese night markets that offer the quintessential Taiwanese eating experience and are the embodiment of Taiwanese culture.

Some of the recipes you can look forward to preparing in this class include one of the most beloved Taiwanese comfort foods: lu rou fan, an exotic bitter melon and pineapple soup, and sticky sweet rice balls in ginger syrup for something sweet to end the class.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Jessica was super nice & knowledgeable, and it was a great time overall. We came away with some tasty new recipes and lots of leftovers!

We had the best time hanging out with Chef Jessica and meeting the other folks in the class while eating SUCH delicious food. All of the dishes were fantastic and there was so much that she even kindly boxed up leftovers for us to take home :) If you are looking to learn about how to cook these Taiwanese dishes and have a great evening/afternoon out as a date/with friends/family, I can't recommend this experience highly enough. We will definitely be using what we learned today in the future! Also it was just such enjoyable company and great conversation on top of everything else! Thank you so much :)

My husband and I LOVED this class! The food was fantastic and Jess was a great teacher. She was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, gave us lots of tips and did an amazing job preparing everything for our arrival. The kitchen was clean and beautiful and the company was great. We really enjoyed the evening and went home with full bellies and lots of left overs! Jess and Austin also went out of their way to make it a welcoming environment and a nice experience, offering little extra treats along the way. We highly recommend this class! Thanks, Jess. :)
