Southern Italy — also known as the "boot"! Chef Josh is ready to take you there and share several regional classics in this entertaining and informative class.
Certain Italian dishes are popular in and specific to the Southern region. You will be preparing these amazing plates completely from scratch. Try your hand at ricotta gnocchi, using techniques true Southern Italian chefs use. Chicken al forno is baked to perfection, which will leave you with newfound kitchen skills you never knew you had! An enchanting dessert of blackberry tartine ends the evening.

Chef Josh created a fun and educational atmosphere. He was open to answering all questions and his enthusiasm about each dish made the experience all-the-more enjoyable. From the savory dishes to dessert, all of the food was incredible!

Chef Josh, an executive chef at a local restaurant specializing in fresh Italian fare, has spent over two decades honing his craft in kitchens across Minnesota and Florida. With a few appearances on the Food Network under his belt, and armed with a culinary arts degree from the Art Institute, Chef Josh is excited to share his knowledge and love for amazing food in hands-on cooking classes you won’t want to miss!
