Explore a less familiar, more unique part of Spanish cuisine in this hands-on team-building class.
Join Chef Fabrice as he takes you and your team on a culinary journey to Basque country to explore the classic dishes that define the area’s traditional food in all its earthy and piscine glory. You and your colleagues will work together using humble, yet dignified building blocks upon which you will recreate three soulful Basque culinary wonders.
You and your team will prepare an authentic marmitako stew, succulent chicken Basquaise, and a divinely decadent gâteau Basque to learn how to define and capture the simple elegance of Basque cooking.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Tuna and Potato Marmitako
With albacore tuna or swordfish, onion, peppers and potatoes
Poulet Basquaise
With roasted peppers, sweet onions, and Espelette piment
Gâteau Basque
With vanilla pastry cream and black cherry jam

Meet your chef
It was at an early age that I started training under 2 star Michelin Chef Jacques Maximin. I earned my chef's diploma with honors from L'ecole Hoteliere De Nice and have cooked for many interesting diplomats around the world. Now I live in San Diego where I love to prepare nutritionally sound meals for my clients while competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and teach cooking classes.
