Chef Tanya leads a team-building culinary exploration of upscale, Italian-inspired cuisine.

This culinary course will engage guests to cooperatively make and enjoy a three-course Italian menu together. Chef Tanya will teach teammates how to prepare an elegant selection of recipes and learn new skills in the kitchen.

In this hands-on class, guests start by learning how to make an appetizer of walnut and goat cheese-stuffed endives drizzled with honey balsamic dressing. For the main course, teammates will learn the recipe for classic chicken marsala served with broccolini almandine gremolata and a choice of rice pilaf or angel hair pasta. For dessert, teammates will make crunchy almond biscotti with gelato for a complete Italian culinary experience.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Tanya's grandmother taught her Puerto Rican cuisine and the most important ingredient: Love. She began to cook professionally at the age of 12 when her family moved to New York, where a neighbor offered to keep her busy at his Italian restaurant, and she hasn't stopped cooking! Chef Tanya's passion drives her, and by refining the art of cooking, she hopes to show guests how to enjoy ethnically diverse cuisine in a healthy way.
