Team Building Activity - Sushi-Rolling Competition

What You’ll Do

Build camaraderie along with a fresh and tasty sushi meal with a side of competition.

Get your group together for a fun and interactive team building activity teaching important skills in the kitchen and beyond. Homemade sushi is the perfect template for mastering mise en place, communication and some fresh fish knowledge.

You'll learn to make sticky rice and prep ingredients like cucumber and avocado to highlight fresh fish cuts. After a chef-led demonstration, you'll break into smaller teams to design and hand-roll sushi for a friendly competition based on creativity, presentation and flavor. After the winners are announced, everyone will enjoy a Japanese favorite — mochi!

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I’d recommend Keith 10 times out of 10 to anyone looking for not just a great meal but also a wonderful experience. We booked a private meal for our wedding dinner and he knocked it out of the park.
