We chose the Zwilling Twin 1731 4-Inch Paring Knife for its compact size and razor-sharp blade edge. We find ourselves using it for everything from peeling apples and peaches to scoring bread, mincing garlic cloves and coring tomatoes. The ergonomic wood-grained handle is our favorite feature for its comfortable grip.
