Made with a sturdy pear wood handle and lightweight, die cast aluminum, the Marcato classic stamp takes the worry out of cutting practically any kind of dough: bread, pasta and even cookies! Though, forming the perfect ravioli is this tool’s raison d’être. The fluted edges allow you to uniformly cut dough into traditional flower shapes, ensuring that your ravioli will always come out tasting as best as possible, thanks to the uniform size and shape. It’s easy to use, too: Simply spoon your favorite filling—meat, vegetables, cheese or whatever you like—onto your pasta dough and then blanket it with another sheet of dough. Firmly press the stamp downward around the filling to seal the dough and separate it from the sheet. Then, just bring some water to a boil, toss in the raviolis and get cooking!
