With the Harold Import Co. Grande Empanada Press, you can make authentic, full-size empanadas at home any time you want! The large-capacity empanada maker enables you to easily mold and cook the perfect stuffed breads every time. Make delicious dumplings, Italian calzones, stromboli, fruit-filled pastries, pocket sandwiches, apple turnovers and so much more all in a snap. To use it, simply roll out your dough to the desired thickness and use the flat edge of the empanada press to cut out a perfect circle of dough. Then, turn the press back over, lay the circle of dough over the teeth, and gently press down in the middle to form the indentation to hold your fillings. Spoon your ingredients into the center, moisten the edges of the dough with water and fold the press closed to seal the pastry. Next step: Cook it up! When you’ve finished, wash your press in the dishwasher and then stow it away with the locking pin in place to hold the press closed for more compact storage.
