We booked Chef Jordan's cooking class for Father's Day and it turned into one of our favorite family memories. From the moment we arrived at his house, the whole experience felt warm and welcoming, and the kids were hooked on the activity right away. We honestly had more fun than we ever imagined. What really got me was watching my picky eater. She is usually hesitant to try anything new, but she was excited and happy to taste every dish we made. Chef Jordan has such a great way with kids, patient, encouraging, and clearly passionate about cooking. Since the class, my kids have been showing real interest in cooking, asking to help in the kitchen, and talking about what we made that day. We will be cheering to this memory for years to come. Highly recommend Chef Jordan for any family looking for a fun, hands-on experience that might just spark a new love of cooking.

What an incredible experience! Chef Jordan gave us far more than a meal, he gave us an education and a memory we'll be talking about for a long time. His knowledge of food as medicine was fascinating, and his calm, welcoming demeanor made the entire experience feel approachable and fun. The food itself was absolutely epic, but what really made the day special was everything we learned along the way. From proper knife skills to new ways to cut and prepare fruits and vegetables, Jordan shared techniques that will change how we cook at home. He even managed to convince our palates that not all peppers are created equal! Today was fun, unique, delicious, and exactly what we were hoping for as an anniversary cooking experience. It was a great experience! We made baked bagels with a simple recipe, roasted potatoes, had fun with a fancy fruit platter and a berry and apple cobbler. So much food! Jordan educated us about clean organic choices in everything from butter and yogurt to happy pigs making better tasting bacon. Will definitely book another class with him.

Our family booked a paella cooking class with Chef Jordan for my mother in law's 70th birthday. Jordan was very professional and showed up with all the supplies for the cooking class. He used every opportunity to teach us about how to use the knives and how to prepare/cut different ingredients. Paella is something we would have never attempted on our own, and it was awesome to have a hands on experience to learn how to make it. Jordan goes above & beyond teaching and encouraging you to reimagine how simple and easy cooking can be. We loved the emphasis on using high grade and locally sourced ingredients. We made chicken broth from scratch and were able to use the leftover both & chicken for a dinner dish later in the week. All around this was an incredible experience and an excellent way to elevate your gatherings! Thank you Jordan!

We booked Chef Jordan for New Year’s Eve during our family trip to San Diego, and he was phenomenal. He was responsive, flexible, and just a pleasure overall. With two toddlers and early bedtimes, this was the perfect way to celebrate. We got a true five-star dining experience right at our Airbnb while the kids slept and the adults enjoyed. The food was absolutely delicious (and the leftovers were just as good the next day!). 12/10 — highly recommend him.

We had an AMAZING experience with Chef Jordan! Our family of four met at his home and from the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and comfortable. Our menu conisisted of Lettuce Wrapped Portobello Quinoa Sliders topped with chipotle aioli and avocado, Blackened Pineapple Cajun Chicken and Peach Mango Cherry Cobbler. Cooking together as a family was such a fun and memorable experience, and every dish we made was both delicious and healthy. My husband and son were a bit hesitant about some of the vegetarian quinoa slider dishes at first, but the quinoa burgers completely won them over—they’re still talking about how good they were! Chef Jordan is an incredible teacher: warm, patient, engaging, and so knowledgeable. He made everything easy to follow and genuinely fun. Cooking in his home felt very special, and Chef Jordan went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. We would highly recommend him to anyone booking a cooking class through Cozymeal. Five stars all the way!

Our experience with Chef Jordan was a perfect blend of a fine culinary session and back yard bbq. We kicked things off with a special cacao opener. We learned useful prep techniques, enjoyed 3 courses of organic and responsibly sourced food, garden fresh herbs, and specially made sauces. We enjoyed steak frites with a lakeside sunset view and finished with a wonderous dessert with surprising ingredients. It was an evening full of music, clean upper scale food, useful information, great conversation, and generous left overs. Truly elevating!

5 star experience. I went with a friend. Jordan invited us into his home where he taught us knife skills and then put us to work chopping and dicing ingredients for our meal. I was delighted to learn how to use different types of mushrooms. The meal turned out scrumptious and was followed by a ceremonial cacao drink with a wonderfully tasty dessert. All gluten and dairy free. Chef Jordan is a great teacher and very personable. We both enjoyed our experience and time spent cooking together.

I gifted this cooking class to my partner for Christmas and we both had such a lovely time! Jordan's home is very clean and comfortable with a great balcony and view of the nearby lake. He was very professional and made it a fun and interactive cooking experience. We did the 'Cooking with Mushrooms' course and made soup, lasagna, and the most amazing ceremonial cacao. He had already prepared the cheesecake and sent us home with so many leftovers. We are already talking about making these recipes for our friends and family. Would recommend making a day trip out of it - we hiked Stonewall Peak and made a quick trip to Julian to visit the famous Julian Pie Company before the cooking class. Highly recommend this experience - Jordan was the perfect host and teacher.

What a great afternoon with Chef Jordan! He went above and beyond. We learned so much and enjoyed the absolute best Thai food!!! The atmosphere was so very pleasant. We ate our first course on his beautiful mountain deck and then came inside for the rest of the meal. He sent us home with a ton of leftovers. I can’t say enough good things! I attended Chef Jordan's Art of Ancestral Cooking class. Chef Jordan was an exceptional host. Chef Jordan shared lots of detailed information about the spices and ingredients he used to prepare the meal and where he purchases these items (or grows). He was well versed on the methods of preparation and cooking, and all portions of the meal prepared were outstanding.

Great class with tasty food! Chef Jordan is very knowledgable and friendly. The class is in his home, which was welcoming and inviting. Just a word of advice: Definitely take the larger of your vehicles as he is up in the mountains (beautiful area). But all in all, would recommend!

My girlfriend Molly and I took an Indian cooking class with Chef Jordan and we loved it! We weren’t sure how it would be going into someone else’s home for the class but Jordan made it super comfortable and had great energy. We learned so much about spices, prepping methods, and ways to cook it was super interesting and fun. The food was unbelievably good. We had a fabulous time with Chef Jordan. We had a hiccup on our end with logistics and he was more than accommodating. He is not just an amazing chef, he is truly an outstanding person. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about all aspects of food and preparation, especially sustainable cooking, which is exactly what we were looking for. We learned an abundance of information that we will be taking home and incorporating into our family meals. The environment was warm and welcoming and made the afternoon that much more enjoyable. Our experience with Chef Jordan was amazing! From the food to the ambiance he has created an environment where you instantly feel at home and become inspired to get back in the kitchen. The food (grilling class) was so delicious and a great way to bond with family and friends as you prepare the courses together. Such a fun experience! I bought the Thai Cuisine Fundamentals class with Chef Jordan as a birthday gift for a good friend. We had an wonderful time cooking with Chef Jordan, who was super easy going and a great teacher. We learned some great cooking techniques and best of all the food was AMAZING! He walked us through what seemed like very complicated recipes and made them very approachable – we’ll definitely be making them on our own. I would definitely recommend taking this awesome class.
