Online Cooking Class - The Science of Baking: Soufflés

Rise to the occasion and learn the secrets and the science that simplifies soufflé making.

During this live and interactive online cooking class with Chef Maria, you will learn how to prepare two light and airy, yet decadent dessert soufflés that bring the "wow" factor in taste and presentation and make a spectacular finale to any dinner. You will also learn how to prepare a vanilla crème anglaise and an orange crème anglaise from scratch to pair with your finished banana soufflé and Grand Mariner soufflé.

Chef Maria was incredibly patient and full of great tips!! I did find it difficult to follow this class without a printed recipe that matched in detail. Happy to report it yielded delicious soufflés anyway!!!

After graduating, Chef Maria spent time traveling around the world as a personal chef before returning to the U.S. to take a job as executive chef for a luxury resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Chef Maria now manages a contemporary gastropub in Las Vegas where everything is made from scratch.
