Embark on a culinary journey through three regions of Mexico for an authentic tamale experience.
During this live and interactive online cooking class with Chef Maria, you will learn three authentic time-honored tamale recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. After mastering your homemade masa dough, you will begin your journey to Tijuana for beef tamales with guajillo salsa before ending in Guadalajara with sweet corn tamales.

- Class Size Public class sizes are between 4 to 20 connections to provide an opportunity for all guests to participate and ask questions. Private classes can accommodate up to 498 guests.

Chef Maria created a wonderful cooking and learning culinary experience for us! Her confidence and warmth immediately puts you at ease and her love for her craft and food shows in everything she does! She shared several great cooking tips (she's skilled in multiple genres and techniques from baking to knife skills) and answered all our questions along the way. And of course, the food was absolutely delicious!

Chef Maria was amaaaaazing! Very professional, fun, energetic & patient. I would definitely recommend taking one of her classes. I will be booking again very soon. :-)
Meet your chef
After falling in love with cooking at age 15, Chef Maria decided to take the leap and attend the Culinary Institute of America. After graduating, Chef Maria spent time traveling around the world as a personal chef before returning to the U.S. to take a job as executive chef for a luxury resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Chef Maria now manages a contemporary gastropub in Las Vegas where everything is made from scratch.
