Chef Sayeh was fun, engaging, and talented at managing our large group. Food was delicious. Only feedback for future events is to better clarify the location ahead of time. Several of our guests searched "DC Cooking School" in their ride share app or maps, and it took them to a different location than the correct address. The door to the school was also challenging to find, so better signage / way-finding would be helpful.

Booked this for my 9 year-old goddaughter's birthday present as she has become sushi obsessed lately. She and her cousin did this together and this was the perfect birthday gift. Chef Justin comes to your spot and he was patient, attentive, and charming. The girls had a great time, learned how to make sushi themselves, and made plenty to share. Fantastic! We did an in-home class for sushi rolls and nigiri for four people. Chef Justin focused on exactly what we asked for (our favorite rolls) and taught us things we didn’t even know we needed to know. He was funny, smart, talented, and a good teacher. He taught us how to make several different kinds of rolls, how to make nigiri, and then made some special rolls to leave with us. They were delicious! Absolutely worth the cost. We had a great experience with Chef Justin! I would recommend Chef Justin time and time again to friends and family. I surprised my girlfriend with a sushi making night and we had a fantastic experience. Chef Justin was on time and prepared with all ingredients and supplies. He worked with us to accommodate my girlfriend who had gluten and dairy allergies and have similar rolls and sauces she could consume. He set up and prepared in our kitchen space well. He was friendly, joking, but also very serious and focused on his craft. It was so fun to see his technique and skills and he was a great teacher, letting hs try our hand at cutting and rolling. We ate a multiple course meal and both of us LOVED it. The sushi was so fresh and so good. I couldn’t recommend this more to others. Thank you to Chef Justin for such a fun experience!

BOOK Chef Justin without hesitation! I initially reached out to Chef Mademaster and was disappointed. I booked, he cancelled a week after, I asked for an explanation in the messages and he NEVER responded. Very rude. I then found Chef Justin and it was a WONDERFUL experience. Chef Justin was on time and exceeded our expectations in every way possible. He was able to customize the menu for me (I'm vegan my friend isn't) he had multiple options that were tasty. Hiring Chef Justin was one of the best decisions we made for our event.
