Gather your group in one space for a hands-on sushi-making class guided live by Chef Krong. This interactive online experience blends real-time chef instruction with the fun of creating together in person. Each participant receives a ready-to-use sushi kit, making everything easy and seamless.

Learn how to prepare sushi rice, layer fresh ingredients like avocado, carrot and crabstick (or tofu) and roll classic California rolls. Perfect for team building or group events, this class turns any space into a lively sushi studio.

One kit is enough for 2 servings – feel free to share with your teammate or treat yourself to a second round afterwards.

Kit Description

Sushi Making Kit
This sushi-making kit includes everything needed to roll authentic sushi yourself, with enough ingredients for 2 servings (about 4 rolls). It comes with uncooked Japanese short-grain rice, dry seaweed (dashi kombu) and a sushi vinegar mixture. You’ll also find nori sheets, roasted black or white sesame seeds, Japanese or Kraft mayo, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce and wasabi powder. To help you prepare and serve your sushi, the kit includes a bamboo sushi mat, two dipping sauce bowls and two pairs of chopsticks.

Prep Work Details

1. Rinse rice twice or until water turns clear. Add 2 cups of water and soak the rice for 30 minutes. 2. Cut the dry seaweed into 2-inch-wide pieces (about 4 pieces) and add them to the soaking water with the rice. 3. After 30 minutes, cook the rice in a rice cooker. Once cooked, discard the seaweed and gently stir the rice. 4. Keep the rice warm until the class begins.

Chef Krong was warm and friendly. Her helpful tips made it seem like making our own sushi at home was easier than we thought! More importantly, she was able to engage both kids and adults in our sushi experience. We strongly recommend her to anyone, and especially groups with kids.

We were happy to learn some tips to creating authentic tasting pad thai and green curry. Each dish we made was delicious. My only disappointment was I felt this experience was very rushed and quick because Chef Krong had another booking right after ours. I sensed she was distracted because of this. There was no time to take notes because she was moving us along at a very fast pace. Parts of this experience seemed like a blur to me.
