Laila was a wonderful tour guide. The gumbo and the praline stuffed beignets were incredible! She was extremely knowledgeable about the food and the culture of New Orleans. I was impressed by the amount of detail she would use when describing each dish, from the specific roux in the gumbo, to the history of the Muffaletta sandwich, and the difference between the praline stuffed beignets compared to the beloved Cafe du Monde's.
