In this hands-on class, Chef Danielle will begin by discussing chocolate truffle techniques including emulsification, melting and tempering chocolate for enrobing, and rolled truffles. Armed with these techniques, you will learn how to whip up an impressive array of truffles using everyday flavors from your own kitchen.
Upon mastering a basic dark chocolate ganache, you'll explore white chocolate ganache with an earl grey or matcha infusion. You'll also make a hazelnut gianduja filling with Frangelico to be rolled in toasted hazelnuts. Finish with Chef Danielle's favorite — a savory salted caramel ganache.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
