This impressive chef converted a vacant lot into a productive urban farmland and graduated from Kendall College with a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts program. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Enjoy traditional Greek dishes that will please your palate.
Chef Carla will draw upon her extensive culinary experiences to offer you a culinary journey to gorgeous Greece. Join her in creating heavenly authentic dishes.
In this class, you will begin by enjoying some traditional Mediterranean appetizers, known as meze. As you sample these, you will begin to prepare your classic Greek meal. Try your hand at savory stuffed peppers, and succulent lemon and garlic roasted chicken with fingerling potatoes. Then create traditional baklava and Greek coffee for dessert, and make sure to read your fortune in the grounds of your coffee!

Chef Carla offers an eclectic array of dishes that she prepares in front of you. Her cozy and rustic-chic space offers a bit of the old world, along with a very eclectic choice of music. She is knowledgeable with her cooking repertoire as she shares insight on how to make everything from Greek dolmades, pork pozolé, quiche, to a lovely Italian ricotta cheesecake. I even got to learn the secrets to making great tamales from scratch! Wonderful experience that shouldn't be missed!
