In this hands-on class, Chef Kira will take you on a culinary journey to New Orleans, where the soul food is equal parts comforting and exciting.
First, Chef Kira will teach you the secret to making authentic charbroiled oysters. Then, learn how to master the simple art of complex and creamy shrimp and grits. The main event is a New Orleans-style crawfish boil that is just as much a social event as a party of flavors. Of course, no soul food class is complete without sweet, fluffy beignets.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
