Learn to prepare healing and therapeutic dishes with a range of global flavors from Chef Kristin.
In this vegan cooking class, Chef Kristin will teach you to prepare a variety of heart-healthy and cleansing dishes. The all-organic and nutrient-dense menu includes anti-cancer kale chips, a creamy Thai chard-carrot stew, tempeh sausages served alongside a homemade dandelion pesto, 3 amazingly colorful and nutritious salads, and a fresh fruit pie to finish.
Throughout the meal, Chef Kristin will teach you about the nutritional aspects of each dish and ingredient, so you will leave not only with new recipes (and a full stomach!) under your belt but the building blocks for creating your own heart healthy salads.
Guests are welcome to bring their own beverage to enjoy with the meal.

Chef Kristin is very knowledgeable about the health benefits of the ingredients she uses. I loved her dandelion pesto and her warm nectarine pie tasted like an orchard of happiness. I left feeling inspired by her use of unique and colorful ingredients. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a wholesome and refreshing meal!

Chef Kristin is full of insight and lessons about how to incorporate healthy, wholesome ingredients into one's diet, with no loss of delicious flavor. I left the class completely satiated and feeling like I could run a marathon!
Meet your chef
I am a therapeutic chef -- I cook for people in order to coach them back to health. I am a Registered Nurse, a Certified Nutrition Consultant, and have a degree as a Certified Natural Chef from Bauman College. I studied macrobiotic nutrition and cooking as well as Chinese medicinal cooking. I create meals and diets using the most therapeutic ingredients to promote the idea of using "food as medicine" in order to reverse or prevent illnesses such as cancer, heart disease and diabetes.
