Take a culinary journey from coast to coast with this one of a kind class. As you learn the techniques and local ingredients from both the East coast and the West coast, you will be in awe with the amazingly succulent dishes you are able to create. From main dish to dessert, each plate has a little bit from each end of the country.
Mouthwatering, savory lamb will fall off the bone as you learn how to roast it to perfection using an array of spices, such as fenugreek and cardamom, then top it off with cooling cucumber and divine mint relish. Lemongrass, cilantro and garlic chili paste will take your side dishes, such as fresh corn, to an entirely new level. Finally, try your hand at tender pastry filled with luscious ice cream and bathed in a exquisite dark chocolate caramel sauce.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Barbara was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from the cooking lesson. Plus we were working side by side with her learning tips. She also was able to answer random questions that we had about spices, cooking pans and utensils plus we got a quick lesson on the different types of salts! She is super friendly and we were so comfortable with her.

Fantastic experience! Barbara was warm, welcoming, and energetic. She taught us skills that I'll use in my home cooking, and we had a great time learning em! Can't recommend her highly enough!!

Chef Barbara has been a culinary instructor for over 20 years. A former culinary school manager, her experience in the kitchen classroom led her to write a cookbook for young adults seeking guidance with everyday meals. An expert in cooking fundamentals and instruction, Chef Barbara has worked with corporate teams to strengthen communication and trust through the act of preparing a meal together.
