What You’ll Do

Learn how to make a variety of Asian recipes and create sushi by hand with Chef Jarvis.

Join Chef Jarvis for an exploration of sushi-making and pan-Asian cuisine while learning how to work with new ingredients and techniques in this interactive cooking class.

First, you'll learn how to make a coconut miso soup with shiitake mushrooms and vegetables, followed by a fresh mixed greens salad with Thai peanut dressing. Then, craft traditional sushi rolls by hand using a variety of vegetables and sushi-grade fish. You'll finish with a classic dessert, such as mochi balls or ginger rice pudding.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Jarvis attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta before traveling to Spain to finish his International Culinary Diplome. Toward the decent of his collegiate career, he traveled overseas to several countries in Europe in order to broaden his horizon and widen his perception on life. Most recently, he has appeared on the Food Network series Cooks VS Cons, CBS 46, and Channel 11 Alive News doing cooking demonstrations.
