What You'll Do

Explore authentic Indian flavors in this cooking class and master delicious specialties like Dal Tadka.

In this cooking class, you'll explore the depth and diversity of Indian cuisine through four dishes that span lentils, grains, chicken and slow-cooked vegetables. Each recipe is a lesson in spice – when to bloom it, how to layer it and how to let it do the work.

The menu covers dal tadka with tempered lentils and aromatics, black sesame chicken, fragrant jeera pulao and baingan bharta – a smoky, slow-cooked eggplant dish that rewards patience and technique. You'll leave with a full understanding of spice balance and the confidence to cook Indian food at home with ease. Book your spot today.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Exceptional! My wife and really enjoyed the entire evening. I especially did, given the fact that I am not good at cooking AT ALL. Chef Rakhi was accommodating, patient, and a wonderful teacher. I have now graduated from being the WORST CHEF. The Bistro experience was fabulous, but what truly made the experience exceptional, was simply the time we spent getting to know Chef Rakhi. She is and amazing woman with an amazing story. Can't wait to read the book.

This class was amazing! I loved the food and ravioli and cookies. Her knowledge of cooking and Italian cuisine was awesome. I learned a bunch of cool tricks for making pasta, including vodka pasta sauce which was so creamy and delicious! Definitely would take again
