Give your teen five days of pastry practice in this cooking series.

Challenge your teen in this interactive cooking series in Skokie (Chicago) built for aspiring bakers and pastry lovers. With step-by-step guidance from Chef William or a chef instructor, students will master yeast doughs, enriched breads and laminated pastries while creating galettes, soda bread, ciabatta, cinnamon roll focaccia and croissants with creative fillings. Along the way, they’ll practice timing, shaping and temperature control. This cooking series in Skokie (Chicago) offers a structured, hands-on environment where teens can level up their skills and explore professional pastry methods.

We had the resident chef for our class. It was a woman who actually didn’t introduce herself/name. I liked how ingredients was organized. My only suggestion would be to have the lead chef possibly use a mic so everyone can hear (even over the kids since I went to a Mother’s Day event class). Everything tasted great. However, the lemon bars were still liquid texture and some guests ended up leaving without taking them home because we waited 20 min for it cook in the oven and then even after they were not set because they would have to be refrigerated to become solid texture.
