Cooking Class - California Heirloom Feast

Learn to make a range of delicious California dishes with Chef Carolina!

In this California cooking class, you'll learn a variety of dishes utilizing the incredible bounty of Californian ingredients, from olives and cheeses to avocado and chicken. Chef Carolina will welcome you to the class with a spread of antipasti, both domestic and imported. Then the cooking will really begin -- you'll learn to prepare healthy and delicious dishes such as carrot-ginger soup, avocado bruschetta, and rosemary chicken, which you'll get to enjoy in Chef Carolina's beautifully serene backyard. For dessert you'll be offered a spread of cookies, bars, and brownies, both gluten-free and not.

Chef Carolina will provide a number of non-alcoholic drinks, including juices, flavored waters, and iced tea, and welcomes guests to bring their own wine or beer to enjoy with the class.

I graduated from the Art Institute and The Institute of Natural Food, and worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years. I have been surrounded by good food all my life - my mother and grandmother were always in the kitchen cooking, and I learned many secrets to authentic ethnic Mexican food. This has been my inspiration for creating menus full of natural, unprocessed foods.
