What You'll Do

Learn time-tested techniques for delicious, fluffy bread at home.

Get hands-on with homemade bread in this beginner-friendly baking cooking class in Skokie (Chicago). Chef Shirley or one of the talented resident chefs will guide you through making roasted vegetable focaccia, shaping French baguettes and pain d’epi and building crostini topped with whipped ricotta and hot honey. You’ll also make your own basil oil for extra flavor. This 3-hour cooking experience in Skokie (Chicago) is a cozy way to learn new skills and enjoy fresh, from-scratch breads.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

We cooked roasted chicken with brown-butter mashed potatoes, as well as a crème brûlée. It was delicious and Chef Ricky was great, it was a great date night for my boyfriend’s birthday!
