What You’ll Do

Cozy up with steak, fall flavors and good company.

Enjoy the flavors of fall in this seasonal cooking class in Carmel (Indianapolis). With guidance from Chef Randy or one of the talented resident chefs, you’ll learn how to sear steak and finish it with a rich bourbon-shallot butter. Then roast sweet potatoes topped with a savory bacon vinaigrette and prepare shaved Brussels sprouts with shallots and pine nuts. Finish with a fun twist on dessert by making mini cannoli tartlets. This hands-on cooking experience in Carmel (Indianapolis) is a great way to cook and connect!

The title shouldn’t be called “date night” it should be called foursome as you have to share your cooking experience with another couple. The couple we were paired with didn’t give us an opportunity to cook anything and share in the fun experience. We were forced to watch everything be done with minimal participation. The food was good at the end but don’t think we would return.

Marshmallows, turtles, fudge & bark. We launched into the event not being told what recipe we were working on. There weren't the correct number or stations ready. We had to ask for missing ingredients and tools throughout. We weren't given the recipes and we were told they would be e-mailed...not received to date. It was a pleasant, slightly chaotic morning.
