Learn to create a luscious variety of chocolate-based desserts that are sure to please your sweet tooth with Chef Clemence. Born in Paris, she has had a love affair with pastries since childhood and relishes the opportunity to share her passion with students in a warm and welcoming class atmosphere. After the class, bring your new skills home with you to treat your dinner guests to a dessert menu that they will not soon forget.
Make sure to bring a container to take home some of these delicious treats.
Chef Clemence begins the class with a silky chocolate pudding, followed by a decadent flourless chocolate souffle cake that is fit-for-the-gods. Next, create ambrosial triple chocolate brownie cookies. Delightful chocolate marshmallows and indulgent chocolate meringue tarts make for a heavenly end to your class.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
Chef Clemence was born in Paris and developed a taste for buttery, sweet and chocolate-filled pastries early in her life. And her love for chocolate has never waned. Her parents moved from France to Washington, D.C. where she perfected her chocolate chip cookie recipe. She studied film in Syracuse, New York, worked at Fox in L.A. for a stint before her friends convinced her to open a dessert company. Besides teaching, she also develops recipes and serves as a food consultant.
