Join Chef Kari as she teaches you to make a delectable six course meal utilizing the freshest produce of the season. Chef Kari has years of professional culinary experience and will walk you through each dish step by step so you can recreate them in your own kitchen to impress your friends and family.
Your meal with start off with a dish of asparagus and fresh goat cheese finished with a homemade dijon sauce. Next, Chef Kari will show you how to make a salad of farmer’s market greens with avocado, toasted almonds and tart cranberries, tossed with a grapefruit and poppy seed vinaigrette. Your third course will be a chilled smoked catch of the day—whatever Kari selects fresh at the market that morning—paired with a dill-yogurt sauce. Next you will learn to prepare a perfectly seared skirt steak alongside roasted potatoes, corn, pearl onions and topped with herbs.
Your final savory dish of the evening will be a cheesy cauliflower and yam gratin with cream and sage. End the evening on a sweet note with a decadent flourless lava souffle with fresh cream and berries.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
