Start cooking authentic Thai dishes bursting with bright, succulent flavors by mastering four classic Thai recipes. Chef Ploy will guide you through her secret tips and techniques for creating flawless Thai cuisine.

For the first course, you will create a creamy coconut soup laced with luscious flavors and tender chicken. The main courses are a traditional green curry with chicken paired with a spicy basil chicken served over fragrant jasmine rice. Take a tour through Thai spices and ingredients as you handcraft these two time-honored recipes. The meal ends with a decadent Thai dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I loved Chef Ploy's Jade Curry, a little spicy for my taste but she showed me how to lessen the heat--whether to use less curry paste or more coconut milk etc. I like it when Chefs can tell me different ways of changing things, I think it shows that they know their stuff and can answer any questions I have. I love to cook and so it's not just about what I'm learning when I take a class but how I can apply it to my own cooking and use what I've learned. Chef Ploy gave me those answers and she's so fun and cute!

I discovered my passion for cooking when I was just ten years old. Since then I have gravitated towards a healthy and sustainable cooking style that I apply to traditional Thai meals. As a native Thai chef, I bring an understanding of the culture and history behind each dish. I also back up my recipes with certification from the Suan Dusit International Culinary School in Bangkok. I moved to Boston in 2012 and have taught numerous cooking classes since then.
